|June is Parks and Recreation Month in Alberta and we encourage Didsburians to get out and get active in your favourite activities in our many fabulous parks in town.|
One thing we have learned during this pandemic is how much our residents value our outdoor spaces. We know the important role these parks and playgrounds play in providing venues for physical and mental health, respite, and also for being able to continue our social connections.
Didsbury Memorial Park boasts 3 baseball diamonds for recreational and league play, as well as a 2.5 km trail that encompasses the entire park.
We also have four soccer fields, track and field areas, 13 parks and playgrounds, and a baseball diamond adjacent to the Didsbury Memorial Complex.
There is also the Tots Playground at Kinsmen Park on 17th Street and 23rd Avenue, Eric's Park, Morgan's Playground and Soccer Field, the Valarosa Playground, and more.
You'll also find lots of playground equipment to play on at Ross Ford Elementary and Westglen Middle Schools.
Take a walk around Didsbury. You'll find all sorts of parks and playgrounds and trails you can enjoy this summer.
