|Campers are out and about, getting close to nature, and looking for hot spots for their overnighters. Well, look no further than Didsbury, as the Didsbury Elks are all ready to help you have a terrific summer at Cipperley's Pond Campground.|
Locals know that Cipperley's is a great little campground and love slipping out for some peace and quiet and maybe a little prairie trout fishing as well.
Officially opening April 30th, campground amenities include fire pits, horseshoe pits, free showers, playground, and firewood is also available. Plus, the Elks stock the fishing pond every year, so you can sit back and wait for a nibble.
There is space for 65 trailers, 21 with power. If you're thinking of getting away for the weekend, call 403-586-3748 to book your spot.
It's great for a day getaway as well! The Didsbury Elks Campground has a day use area open for picnicking, relaxing or fishing.
The Elks Campground is located in a serene natural setting just north of the Bergen Road on Range Road 15.
If you would like to see a satellite image of the campground you can go to your maps program and expand between Didsbury and Olds. Just north of the Olds-Didsbury Airport you will see a body of water and if you expand that area it should come up saying Cipperley's Pond and Campground. Then if you switch to Satellite view you will get an idea of the layout of the Campground. The physical address is 32101 Rge Road 15.
There's an abundance of wildlife, birds, and waterfowl, so make sure you pack your camera!
