The first draft of the 2021 Operating Budget was presented to Town Council and residents on March 27th and tabled at the April 13th Council Meeting.

Operating BudgetThe Operating Budget includes everything the Town expects to spend on programming, staff, utilities on Town-owned buildings like the arena and train station, community services like Neighbourhood Place and FCSS, the RCMP and Fire Department, roads and streets, and so on.

It also includes revenues generated from grants, taxes, franchise fees, investments, user fees, and so on.

Operating Budget Presentation

The Presentation from Administration to Council and residents includes highlights and challenges from the 2020 year, as well as goals for 2021.

Some items are separated for ease of understanding including summaries of Operating Grants, Sales and User Fees, Return on Investments, Repairs and Maintenance, Debt Servicing, and Reserves.
