Didsbury is joining the Towns of Olds, Carstairs and Sundre, Village of Cremona, and Mountain View County as they develop a regional parks, recreation, and culture master plan.

Parks and Recreation SurveyThe project is scheduled to be completed in November, 2021.

Municipalities are now in Phase 2, Public Engagement, and are asking all residents in the Mountain View region to participate. Facilities and programming related to parks, recreation and culture will be the main focus of the plan.

Survey participants will have an opportunity to enter into an early-bird draw (if you complete a survey by March 31st) and the final draw (if you complete a survey by April 30th). Each draw will be for a $100 local gift card of your choosing!

NOTE:
* The term "Mountain View Region" refers to all municipalities located within the boundaries of Mountain View County.
* The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
* The deadline to respond to the survey is April 30, 2021.

Digital public and stakeholder engagement sessions are scheduled to take place in Didsbury on April 13th from 2 - 3 pm and again from 6 - 7 pm.

Residents are asked to register for a session no later than 24 hours before the session they wish to attend by CLICKING HERE. Residents who RSVP will be provided with a link to access the online session, a phone number to call if they wish to participate by phone, and a copy of the presentation.

Youth Digital Engagement Sessions will be hosted at schools in the region. Watch for a session to be advertised in your school in March and April.

Residents and stakeholders will be notified when the Draft Plan will be available for review.

If you are unable to participate in any of the planned engagement sessions,
please reach out to Drew Ziegler with Expedition Management Consulting and he will work with you to collect your input.
