|In our favourite years, the Mountain View Arts Society brings artists, musicians, dancers, and other "artsy folk" to Didsbury at events like the "A Brush With Art" Art Show and Sale, National Canadian Film Day, Art Blast, Days of Yore, Mountain View Arts Festival, and Culture Days.|
In order to make these events successful, the non-profit society enjoys the leadership of a Board of Directors. And now it's time to elect a new slate of volunteers for 2021.
Simply tune in from the comfort of your own home on Thursday, February 25th at 7 pm.

Special Guest Speakers: Artists Gwen Day and Dee Poisson tell us about the "Paint the Barn Red", a story of rural life and agriculture in Mountain View County from the time of the first settlers in this community to the present. The tale is told through paintings of 49 iconic barns, representative of different eras and painted by 37 local artists.
While this get-together is being held via Zoom, it sure will be nice to see everyone once again. There will be lots of time for visiting, reminiscing on the past and brainstorming fun ideas for the coming year.
An evening of your own favourite bevvie and your own favourite munchies - plus you can wear your pjs - as the members recap 2020 and look ahead to 2021.

Come with your questions and your ideas. Share the Zoom link with any friends who might be interested in joining our society as we move forward with our mandate to promote and encourage artistic opportunity here in Mountain View County.
