|Rural Alberta Against Racism (RAAR) aims to bring the conversation of racism into rural communities within the province of Alberta through protests, community discussions and active teamwork towards creating an anti-racist society.|
RAAR is holding a Community Sharing and Discussion get-together in Didsbury on Saturday, July 18th at 1 pm at the green space across from the Ross Ford Elementary School.
Please remember that these are PEACEFUL PROTESTS. Any acts of violence will NOT be tolerated and you WILL be removed by organizers and/or local law enforcement.
Please also remember to respect and follow AHS COVID-19 guidelines by practicing safe social distancing, wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer when needed.
Bring your own snacks, water, lawn chairs, suntan lotion, and bug spray. Please also try using the washroom prior to attending to avoid contact with local businesses and respect their space.
There is a hope to see some incredible movements happen across this beautiful province of ours. We can create change by WORKING TOGETHER.
This is a family-friendly event and everyone is welcome.
