|The Olds College Broncos are thrilled to once again be hosting Colleyball Camps this summer! There will be two types of camps: High Performance and Development.|
The High Performance camp, led by Broncos women's volleyball head coach Rhonda Schmuland, is open to male and female students in Grades 9 through 12 with a focus on tactical and technical skill development, and runs from August 19-22.
Both Camps are led by Broncos men's volleyball head coach Ryan Marsden, OC's Men's Volleyball Head Coach and Ass't Coach for Volleyball Canada's Senior Men's B Team.
The Development Camp is open to male and female students in Grades 6 through 9 with a focus on skill development, footwork and fundamental team play, and run from August 26-29.
Both camps will feature coaching from members of the Olds College men's and women's volleyball teams, and will also incorporate goal setting, mental skills, video analysis and team building as participants take part in classroom sessions and activities off the court. Participants in both camps will have the opportunity to see what it takes to compete at the next level and reach their goals of playing volleyball at the college level.
This is a full day camp with drop off at 8:30am and pick up between 4-4:30pm (participants bring their own lunch). To register, go to www.gobroncos.ca.
High Performance Cost: $250
Development Camp: $225
