|The Didsbury Historical Society turned 40 this year, and the folks at Grasse Lumber wanted to celebrate big time! They built a playhouse that looks just like our world class museum!!|
You may remember Grasse Lumber's wonderful replica of the museum in the parade in August. Now is your chance to take the museum to your yard, as this great building is being raffled off as a fundraiser for the Museum's History Book Project!
Raffle tickets are available for purchase at Grasse Lumber, the Museum and several members. They are $5.00 each or 5/$20.00. Draw will be made on April 14/19 at the Didsbury Art Travel and Trade Show.
Wouldn't this be a great stocking stuffer? Or maybe wrapped up in a box, in a box, in a box! So much fun!!
You can pick up your tickets at the Museum or drop in for our Christmas Coffee and Conversation on December 19.
Operated by the Didsbury Historical Society, the Museum provides high quality exhibitions and stimulating public programs that embrace our local culture and the interests of our community.
One of the best tourist spots in Didsbury is our museum. A Recognized Museum from the Alberta Museums Association, the Museum was established to tell the story of the founding, settlement and development of the community in and surrounding the Town of Didsbury from the late 1800s to the present.
Stop in and see for yourself! The Museum is located at 2110 - 21st Avenue. You can also visit them online at www.didsburymuseum.com.
