One of the best tourist spots in Didsbury is our museum. A Recognized Museum from the Alberta Museums Association, the Museum was established to tell the story of the founding, settlement and development of the community in and surrounding the Town of Didsbury from the late 1800s to the present.

Besides that, the Museum always participates in the Mountain View Arts Festival, they host "Coffee and Conversation" every month, they always have a float in the Elks Parade, they host a school visits program, and so much more.

Stop in and see for yourself! The Museum is located at 2110 - 21st Avenue. You can also visit them online at

To me, history ought to be a source of pleasure. It isn't just part of our civic responsibility. To me, it's an enlargement of the experience of being alive, just the way literature or art or music is.
