Summertime-A great time to read! - Posted: Wed, June 13, 2018, 02:20 pm
Thinking about what you can do with the kids this summer? Or how you can get them to keep up their reading skills? Well, the Didsbury Municipal Library has the answer for you! The Summer Reading Program kicks off July 3rd and goes till August 17th!

Children should read. Bring them to the library so they can have fun this summer. "Come Explore the World With Us" is the theme for this year's program. There's Food, Crafts, and ADVENTURE!

This free program runs for 8 weeks, Tuesday - Friday every week.

Morning Programs: 10 am - 12 noon
Afternoon Programs: 2 - 4 pm
Friday's times will be announced

There will be special events on Fridays, so watch for times to be announced.

Please feel free to bring your child(ren), ages 6 to 12, to participate during the scheduled times. They must sign in each time. Maximum participation each day will be 16. Children must be registered in the Summer Reading Program to attend.

The Summer Reading Program encourages children to read over the summer months and helps keep your children involved by playing games and crafts, all of which are theme related.

For more information or to register, call the Library at 403-335-3142.

Limited spaces available for Food Fridays! Make a dish from Thailand sponsored by the Viyasit Thai Kitchen, or whip up some Cheese buns from Brazil. It's FREE!
