New Community Band starting - Posted: Sat, Aug 26, 2017, 11:34 am
Did you play in a band when you were younger? Itching to haul out that trumpet or trombone, flute or clarinet again? Well, now's your chance!

Great opportunity to play music again! The 2A Connection Ensemble is a brand new community band for the towns along/connected to the 2A. Initiated by Teena Wilks from Top Note Music School in Didsbury, and Andrea Boulet from A Tempo Music Studio in Crossfield, the 2A Connection Ensemble is an adult, all levels, community band for those connected to the Highway 2A.

Annual fees are $150 per year, so everyone has a chance to be a part of the group and bring music back into your life.

This is an adult band (some exceptions are given to older, advanced youth with permission from the directors).

The first rehearsal will be on September 25th from 6-8 pm at the Didsbury High School. Each rehearsal afterwards will be held on Monday evenings from 6:30-8 (6-6:30 will be available for those who need some extra help).

Anyone who plays a woodwind, brass, percussion or string bass instrument is encouraged to join in on the fun!

There will information tables at the following locations:
